Writer. Editor. Content Strategist.

About Me

I’m an experienced writer, editor, proofreader, and content strategist. Above all, though, I’m a lover of the English language. Its intricacies, oddities, and complexities are my passion. I get excited when I can glean the root language of a new word, and I regularly re-read “Authority and American Usage” by David Foster Wallace.

Truth is the swing of the sentence, the beat and poise, but down deep it’s the integrity of the writer as he matches with the language.
— Don DeLillo, Mao II

Above all, though, I’m a lover of the English language. Its intricacies, oddities, and complexities are my passion. I get excited when I can glean the root language of a new word, and I regularly re-read “Authority and American Usage” by David Foster Wallace.

I’ve written about health care, climate science, music, travel, books, and sports. I’m currently a multi-channel copywriter at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, writing and editing collateral for a variety of audiences and media. My previous work ranges from creating content for Blue Cross’s Health Equity web page to articles about how rising ocean temperatures are affecting Maine lobsters to a blog about my time living in New Zealand.

Beyond my writing career, I’m an avid reader and podcast listener, love finding the best restaurant in the neighborhood, and can nearly quote Shaun of the Dead from start to finish. And, as I tell my mom once a week, I’ll get started on my novel “soon.”

I’m always looking for a new challenge. Reach out using the button below.
